I will be delivering a lecture on hip hop and politics at Whittier College in Whittier, CA. From what I understand it is 20 minutes from LAX. The talk is open to the public. The only thing Whittier is 20 minutes away from is South Whittier. In any case, I'll be out that way and we'll do dinner and or drinks. I'll buy drinks, but that's about all my budget can heft at the moment. I'll be looking for a cozy joint - probably Elephant Bar in La Mirada.
