Political Punks
Quite a few times I've said that I considered the political Black leadership in congress, The CBC, to be political punks who lack any knowledge of using their power.
The Black Commentator NAILS this one.
Hmmm. Lets see: Illinois will elect a Black senator in a week or so. Will he represent ONLY the Black constituents (primarily Chicago & environs), or will he also represent the other 90% of the state's acreage as well?
It's not often the constituency is this diverse.

Personally,.. well I hold that thought for now. Not a true liberal, or conservative or independent. Just a plain old AA nationalist!

Man, you really hit the nail on the head here. These folks are no different, in my opinion, than the kleptocrats on "the continent" to name a few, in terms of responsiveness to their community and people. I thinking, maybe they were promised some form or measure of immortality, for not raising a stink on behalf of their "true" constiuents. Therefore, no consistent worthwhile or worthy action in behalf of "their" respective communities. A nd as far as I know, no-one, other than from a rhetorical perspective, has found the "immortalality elixir."
So. Hold your nose!!!!
