Tom Joyner vs Michael Steele
Tom Joyner is a hard core Democrat. I don't feel bad by saying that Joyner carry's the water for the Democrat party.
His audience is big enough that if he just laid out the facts on the dirt the Democrats have pulled in the past few years, the Democrats would be in trouble. In fact, he and Tavis Smiley get blasted by telephone calls when either voices their displeasure with the Democrats.
Check out the interview with Joyner and Lt. Gov. Michael Steele.
Then check out how Black America Web, Joyner's web site if I'm not mistaken, defends Joyner by going for some stats.
Did you catch his comment about the Southern Strategy?

No you not mistaken, he is, as he should, correct mis-statements / misinformation made by Steele. I was curious regadring Steel's comments regarding Black unemployment figures (incorrect national figures given by him). Here in 'democratically controlled' Harlem, where I reside, Black male unemployment from late teens to 65 years is 50% or so according to a recent report. Now one could argue what are the many causes. But I try to tackle or look at the 'structural racial components' of the matter that are played out and carried out from a political/economic vein. Such as located there are some of the worst public schools in the city which equals...... An incarceration rates like you would not believe. In fact, African Americans have the highest incarceration rate in he world. Health statistics that borders on third world numbers to list just a few things.
Now we are undergoing a "rebirth" and you should see the complexion of the work force who's involved with this much needed effort. By the way,in the political class when one tries to remedy the embarassing state of affairs in scenarios like the Harlem matter, you just relocate or displace the "problem population via prison, death by preventable diseases or gentrification. Magical isn't it? But again, I digress.Democrat. Republican. From our vantage point, what's the difference?
