Silly Season
The presidential election season is here. From now on, I call it the silly season.

Looks like this one will go down as one of the nastier silly seasons.
If anyone thinks they've seen the end of 30 second spots of George walking around in a corral in cowboy boots or John hugging his old buddies from his Swift boat days are at an end and will be replaced.....
....they're in for a shock. Those comercials may have been the highlights of the campaign. It's all downhill from this point forward......
This election season isn't any sillier than any other in American history. Maybe just much faster given the nature of the Gorenet, er, Internet.
It seems to me that elections are a lot like giving birth; very painful while it's happening, then sudden and total amnesia to the extreme that we do it again.
